The concept of my work in this unique house in London Battersea was to create abstracted windows to the exterior. Having a interesting history as a theatre, this contemporary conversion resembles now a exquisite retreat from the bustling streets. Like daylight, the virtual views are reflections of what can be perceived only from the outside. The concept sketch of the main piece ‘Battersea View’ started off directly on the open roof, overlooking the distant Battersea power station. During the very fruitfull ‘on site’ process three new pieces were created as well as other work displayed.
